Getting Ready for Vacation

This is my break week from school. I have been busy cleaning and organizing the condo as well as getting ready for our vacation. Little Talia is ready for the beach with her hot pink toes. She is also able to balance standing by herself sometimes. She uses the sofa and the baracade we've set up in the living room to walk. At her doctor's appointment today the pediatrician told me she should be walking by 12 months and if she isn't she is not walking by choice. She is perfectly proportional in the 50th percentile for weight and height at 19 lbs. 1 oz. and 28 inches tall.

Not too much is new with us. Summer goes on, Jon works, I do my work for school, and Talia continues to grow. This post is mainly just new photos of Natalia.

Natalia is so peaceful when she sleeps. We have so many pictures of her napping. She fusses around, plays with her toys, and hides under her blanket as she falls asleep. When I went to check on her one day this is how I found her.

She is also becoming more aware of Lola. As Talia moves around more, Lola gets more and more nervous.

Busy Miss Natalia

Natalia learns how to do new things every day. On Thursday she found her feet for the first time. They are her new favorite thing. Anytime she is lying on her back she grabs for them unless there is a toy occupying her hands. She has completely forgotten about the fact that she can roll over and has not rolled since she found her toes. She is a busy little girl who is always trying to learn new things. The other day when I was reading for school I looked up and caught her digging through the DVDs with her busy little hands instead of playing in her gym.

Hmm.....What's this??? Mean Girls? Maybe I should watch this.

Yeah, this looks good. Hey Mom, can we play this movie?

Well, maybe not.
