This is my break week from school. I have been busy cleaning and organizing the condo as well as getting ready for our vacation. Little Talia is ready for the beach with her hot pink toes. She is also able to balance standing by herself sometimes. She uses the sofa and the baracade we've set up in the living room to walk. At her doctor's appointment today the pediatrician told me she should be walking by 12 months and if she isn't she is not walking by choice. She is perfectly proportional in the 50th percentile for weight and height at 19 lbs. 1 oz. and 28 inches tall.

Christmas
Natalia's first Christmas this year was over Thanksgiving in Stephen with my parents. We were planning on spending Christmas in Minneapolis, so Talia got to open presents then.
Her second Christmas was when Jon's grandparents came to visit. She got this adorable coat and hat. The outfit also came with a muff that you can see on the floor.
We ended up going back to Stephen over Christmas so that Jon could put down new flooring in my parents' kitchen. We had our final Christmas last Sunday with his family.
You can see all over her new toys around her and there she is chewing on the book that came with one of her outfits.

Natalia Update
Natalia likes to read books with her daddy.
She saw the camera, dropped her nuk, and smiled for a photo.
After a long day of playing Natalia fell asleep snacking on some Cheerios.
The flash woke her up and she was immediately ready to take some pictures.

New Mobility
Natalia is a completely different baby than she was a month ago. She has learned to crawl and is so fast now. It took her about a week to get the hang of it. Now when I see that she is trying to get to Lola's dishes, I can barely catch her before she gets there. She will crawl over to our heater (it isn't too hot for her to touch) and try to use it to stand up. Last night she was standing up using the coffee table. We can't take our eyes off her for a second.
She finally figured out the bunny in her crib. She was supposed to be napping the other day when I heard the music that the bunny plays. I found her sitting up in her crib, pulling on the cord. She also looked so cute another day when she sat up still wrapped up in her blanket. She stayed bundled up as she played with her toys.
Talia is getting so good with her little fingers. She is starting to get better with finger foods. Most of the time she can pick up the snacks and get them in her mouth. Sometimes she will still pick up her snack and enclose it in her fist. She will then suck on a couple fingers and not open her hand and then her snack becomes soggy.
She is such a happy baby. You can't really tell in this picture, but her top two front teeth are starting to come in. She was a little fussy, but until they broke through her gums we had no idea they were coming in.
