Climbing

Natalia climbs on everything now. The other day she learned how to crawl into her toy bin, and she can climb up on the sofa now from the floor even though she prefers to use her rocking chair.

We had moved the coffee table under the desk so that she wouldn't climb on it, but that was not the case. She likes to try to see the computer screen and sometimes she gets stuck underneath the desk but on top of the table.

I bought her a new pair of shoes at Target today. They were on sale for $5, and they are perfect for the weather. She really likes them, well, she likes shoes in general. After our walk today I took them off, and she would not let go of them.

Mother's Day

What's new with Natalia.

Natalia is really into blankets now. She is always pulling them out of her crib and then runs around with them. She is turning into Linus, or maybe a ghost.

We finally had to move the coffee table once she learned how to climb up on it. She would climb on top of it and then over the arm of the sofa. We had to move the table because she likes to run back and forth on the cushions, and she didn't know how to get down.

Now that she is 1 I am starting to make her more food and feeding her less baby food. She really likes pasta and apples.

Busy Baby Keeps Mommy Busy Too

I have been doing a terrible job at updating this. Natalia is so much more busy now so I spend most of my spare time trying to get homework, laundry, or the dishes done.

A couple of weekends ago we made it up to Stephen. We got to go to my grandma's 99th birthday party.

Talia really loves to collect things when she is outside, specifically leaves and sticks.

The last picture is so silly. She was being all crazy with the ribbon from her Easter basket that I had to take a picture.

As she gets older she is starting to get so much more personality. Frequently she will sit on the floor with a book and is super chatty. She also has learned that when she hears the word "no" to shake her head no. She of course has no idea what the word means though. She is also starting to make the association of the word "ow" to "no". She will be pulling my hair and I'll say "ow", and she'll start shaking her head no and laughing. She is really big on dancing. Anytime music comes on she starts bouncing. I had my soap opera on the other day and the theme song started playing and there she was dancing away.
