Baby Sister

It is so funny to watch this video. I have been asking her this question for months and she always shakes her head no. I finally record her and she nods yes. Of course afterwards when she watches it she shakes her head no when she hears the question.

Sledding

It has been so cold on the weekends that Natalia has not been able to play outside much. Yesterday her daddy pulled her around Grandma's backyard.

After a few laps Jon decided that Talia might like it better to ride around on her knees. The second he took off she tipped off. I had to stop Jon because he didn't notice. Talia was so surprised she just froze in this position until he helped her up. She loved playing outside and did not want to come inside. Hopefully we are over the worst part of winter although soon it will be hard for me to take her outside. I can just hope for warm weekends when Jon can take her out to play.

Chapstick

This picture doesn't apply to the rest of the post, but I wanted my mom to see the dress she got Natalia for Christmas.

I never know what I am going to find when Natalia disappears for a while and is very quiet. Usually she has scattered her clean clothes all over the floor. Today she was busy with the chapstick she got from her grandma for Christmas. I'm not entirely sure how it ended up within her reach because I thought it was up on the counter.

I have seen her sticking her finger in the tube and rubbing it near her mouth but more on her cheeks, but today she really went to town with it.

Our Past Week

I think that it is so funny when I look through the pictures I have taken of Natalia that Lola is almost always in the background.

This week we didn't do too much. I easily get tired so I never feel like I have enough energy to go anywhere that I don't absolutely have to. The other day Natalia was dancing as she ate a Pop Tart and of course Lola was keeping an eye on her.

Natalia really likes to spend time in her room. She'll be playing in there and after a few minutes I will go check to make sure she is ok. Usually she has pulled a bunch of clothes out of the dresser, but on this day she was jumping on the bed (which she now naps in). She looked so ridiculous hopping around in her undies and one glove.

The rest of the pictures are from yesterday. We got in the car to go to Jon's parents' house and she fell asleep before we made it to the highway.

As usual she had to check out the photo book of herself.

Natalia also played with Joanna's dollhouse. Of course out of all the different pieces she chose to put the toilet in her mouth. 

Is it Spring yet?

I am so tired of winter. I don't like the snow or the cold. Natalia always thinks we are going somewhere. She is almost always wearing her winter boots around the house and whatever winter gear she can reach. Right now she has her jacket, boots, and hat on. She also walks around saying buh-bye. Her favorite indoor activity is terrorizing the dog. She chases her around and takes her toys. Talia is really into closing doors which makes Lola nervous. So far this morning Talia has locked Lola in the bathroom with her and her bedroom. Lola likes to know what Talia is doing so she is always closely following her.

She loves magazines. When one comes in the mail I have to hide it so that I can look at it before she starts ripping out pages.

This morning we went out to run errands. When I told her we were leaving she immediately went and got her phone. She has had a lot of different phones, but Grandma got her this pink one and she loves it. I am trying to get her to give up the nuks. It was one of the three things I was going to work on before the baby comes. So far we are only one for three. She is out of her crib and sleeps in a bed, but I guess maybe we are only at 1/2 because she still naps in the crib. I have gotten pretty good at collecting her nuks and most of the time she only gets them at naptime and bedtime. We have not made much progress on potty training. If she is naked from the waist down she won't have any accidents. However, she will only sit on the potty and will not actually go potty unless she has a diaper on.
